Pixies announce Come On Pilgrim... It's Surfer Rosa release

On September 28th, 4AD will release a special 3 disc, 30th anniversary edition of Pixies' Come On Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa. In addition to the mini album and the band's full debut there will be Live From The Fallout Shelter, a recording from 1986.

The set will be available on 3 CD and 3 gold LP vinyl, followed by a limited edition box/hardback book in November. Vaughan Oliver once again provides the artwork.

Surfer Rosa is without doubt one of the greatest albums ever and a defining moment in the history of American Alternative Rock. Produced by Steve Albini, it followed Come On Pilgrim which was remarkably the band's first studio session.
