Melody's Echo Chamber announces new album 'Bon Voyage'

Melody Prochet, AKA Melody's Echo Chamber has revealed details of her second album Bon Voyage to be released June 15th on Domino records. Watch the video below for first track from the album, Breathe In, Breathe Out.

Melody's Echo Chamber emerged in 2012 with the brilliant self titled debut on Domino offshoot Weird World. Recorded and Produced by Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, the new album sees Prochet collaborate with Dungen’s Reine Fiske and The Amazing’s Fredrik Swahn, with further contributions from Gustav Esjtes and Johan Holmegaard of Dungen and Nicholas Allbrook of Pond.

Prochet described Swedish psych rockers Dungen as “soulmates and extreme beings, uncompromisingly intense and sensitive.”  She also had this to say about her time recording in Sweden “Swedish nature helped me to breathe and soothed me in times of anxiety. I had a majestic forest with a lake three minutes’ walk from my home. Recording sessions were a break in our lives, an escape from our frustrations as young adults, parents, musicians and embittered life jugglers. What transpired was a kind of modern fairytale full of duality: beautiful and disenchanted, happy and painful, internal and external, childish and mature, but also violent and measured. We had no structure and no limits and we stepped out of our comfort zones.”
