Cave In bassist Caleb Scofield has passed away

It has been announced that bassist and vocalist Caleb Scofield has passed away due to a vehicle accident on the 28th March, in New Hampshire. In addition to being a father and husband who will be dearly missed, Caleb was also bassist with the Rock band Cave In and the metalcore Old Man Gloom. Scofield joined Cave In for their 1998 album Until Your Heart Stops, a genre defining album of the metalcore scene. Cave In continued to redefine their sound over the years and Scofield's bass became more prominent and even significant as can be heard on the beautiful song 'Seafrost' from Antenna. His contributions to the music scene will be greatly missed, but always remembered. R.I.P.
