Death Grips Split Up

Revolutionary experimental band Death Grips, a group famous for albums such as The Money Store and NO LOVE DEEP WEB, has broken up. After releasing the first half of their fifth album, The Powers That B, less than a month ago, Death Grips announced today that they're officially calling it quits. According to the band's Facebook page, they feel that they "are now at [their] best and so Death Grips is over."

Until further notice, all upcoming tour dates are cancelled and the band is no longer together, though the second half of The Powers That B will still be released in August as anticipated. Drawing their careers to a close and thanking their fanbase for the support they had gained over the years, the band stated: "Death Grips was and always has been a conceptual art exhibition anchored by sound and vision. Above and beyond a 'band'. To our truest fans, please stay legend."
