Apparently Springsteen played Glasto in 2009, not 2010. So I will change that 'Legend' vote to someone who has died in the last year, namely Captain Beefheart.
Best Album: Beach House - Teen Dream
Best Single: Kisses - Bermuda
Best Band: Arcade Fire
Best Solo Artist: Joanna Newsom
Best Video: Kylie Minogue - All the Lovers
Best Album Artwork: Joanna Newsom - Have One On Me
Worst Album: Zola Jesus - Stridulum II
Worst Single: Owl City - Fireflies. Or Billionaire, which for those who don't know is by someone called 'Travie McCoy'
Worst Band: Mumford & Sons
Best Dressed: Kelis
Worst Dressed: Can I say Simon Cowell, even though he has only the most tenuous connection to music?
Best Newcomer: Lonelady
Soundblab Legend Award: Bruce Springsteen (for his Glasto performance)
Best Floor-Filler: Sleigh Bells - Tell 'em
Best Live Act: Deerhunter
Best Website: Wikipedia. Or Soundblab.
Brown, you're wrong about the Willow Smith song, it's ace. Soundbunny, you're right about Usher, he is clearly a sex fiend. Bob, can we have an article that's just you ranting about all the pop songs you hate? I think that'd be quite good.
I've heard of this 'indie' music, and while I find most of it obscure and difficult to understand, this band are bland and derivative enough that I can play it and it won't make me think of how dull and meaningless my life is.
Ha ha ha. So a drunken conversation in the pub becomes a proper article about music. Well done. But I can't believe you didn't include TFC in your top 5, you montser!
Is it wrong that I quite like Shiny Happy People? I don't care what Stipe thinks, it's a good song. At the risk of sounding like a total idiot, it makes me smile.
Oh, but apart from that, I agree. I do like Ziggy Stardust only slightly better than Low, and also London Calling. I would never argue with Eno or Neu! Excellent stuff.

Great review! I love 'No Pussy Blues'. I also love Grinderman album covers, perhaps a little more than their music.

Beta Band, anyone? Boards of Canada? You've also not mentioned The Pastels. Not a massive fan myself but they're alright.
