So gratifying to see this album get some very deserved attention. I first came across it at Wuxtry Records in Athens, GA in the fall of 1988. I was a huge fan of the Birthday Party, the Gun Club, and Nikki Sudden. I didn't know who Gluck was a the time but these other names were more than enough to prompt a purchase. It was truly a dream line-up. And, yes, the album is stunning. I greatly prefer the original LP over the CD with all of the extra tracks (these bonus cuts are all very good but for me compromise the integrity of the original LP as a self-contained work of sheer brilliance). Thanks again for giving this mostly unheard classic some love.
