Ann's Jam is really lovely, but I want to vacation at that beautiful place in the video more than listen to the song!

I just found the song M, and was blown away by it. Read your review and now I am so psyched to listen. I have always liked Florist, but this seems like a profound, uncharted direction

I really like this and look forward to diving in when it is released.

Always appreciate your point of view, but I really enjoyed this collaboration. Agree the first song is so countrified that it gets a bit formulaic, but I am sucker for a syrupy love song with a slide and a bright finish. The album is a bit disconnected, but that makes it experimental and interesting. Guess I am just a super fan of Sam Beam and his lyrical depth and folksy flourish.

Looking forward to giving this a listen. I hope they will promote this album together, cause I will be there!

I appreciate your perspective, but I heard something totally different with this album. I was impressed with the new album's slight departure because it was authentic and true. The pedal steel was haunting and gorgeous throughout, as well as her soothing vocals. Your words are food for thought.

Well said. There is something soothing and breezy about their music and I dig it.

Hmmm. Interesting perspective. I wish you would explain the Dead connections. I agree it feels more like a solo, but I think it is refreshing and different. Growth. It is a strong album IMHO.

High Water is a wonderful festival with many wonderful music surprises, all on the North Charleston waterfront. I am sad I won't be there this year!
