1. Hey Mark, they still kick a** live (even if a bit more gently than during Electr-O-Pura times).
2. The list above is actually quite accurate, w/ just a few exceptions: "Electr-O-Pura" and "I Am Not Afraid …" need to be moved way up (as in approx. # 3 or 4 and # 7, respectively). Also, "There's A Riot Going On" and "Summer Sun" need to be moved to the bottom two (# 14 and #15, respectively).
Yet again a solid Rob Taylor review! Too bad the "difficult tonality" prevents Hersh from getting the recognition she truly deserves. Having seen her perform live a couple of times, I can also attest to her incredible guitar mastery!
Couldn't agree w/ you more Mark, down to your choice of best tracks. I've read a few of your reviews on another site and our tastes seem to run parallel. Just out of curiosity, do you find the sonic quality to suffer from limited dynamics and an excessive wobbly bass sound (on both CD + vinyl)?
