That Les Rallizes album and The Birthday Party one are incredible. The latter really captures one of my favourite acts in their prime, fierce!

Ace! The Soft Bulletin is probably still my favourite overall, absolutely perfect album. Clouds Taste Metallic, Transmissions from the Satellite Heart and Hit to Death in the Future Head after that. Everyone Wants to Live Forever from the latter being my favourite Lips tune!

Tricky. My list would be quite similar but I'd definately put In Rainbows higher up and add the live album I Might Be Wrong. OK Computer and Kid A definately both gave me a "wow, what is this!" moment though, followed by heavy rotation on the tape deck/ CD player respectfully :)

Really looking forward to the Purple Mountains album! Berman has to be one of my favourite songwriters and lyricists. I'm not sure what my fave Silver Jews album would be, I tend to go between The Natural Bridge, American Water and Bright Flight though

A tricky one...there's still some like Monster that I've (shockingly) never heard in full so I'll do a shorter list...for me Automatic and Reckoning kinda represent the two R.E.M's perfectly, the alt-rock and the indie 1. Automatic for the People 2. Reckoning 3. Up 4. New Adventures in Hi-Fi 5. Out of Time 6. Green 7. Life's Rich Pageant

It's a goodun'! Although I've given it a lot less time then the others (need to correct that). I could have done a whole Coil list really but thought it would be fun to start with TG and see what that spawned

Love this band! No bad albums, although The Invisible Way is my least favourite. The Great Destroyer and Trust are possibly my two favourites, being 2 of the first albums I heard by them. And of course the impeccable Christmas album! Always stunning to watch live too
