Somewhat obscure and wonderful Canadian albums

It's easy to rush through the Canadian scene without realizing its great treasure of music. Sure, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell left for America and became famous. But so many artists stayed (singing in both French and English) to record wonderful albums. And remember, in March 1970, Winnipeg, Manitoba (of all places!) was the "American Woman" epicenter of the Billboard Hot 100! So thank you, very much, Sam the Record Man, Archambault Musique, and, of course, Charlie's Country Music Store in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia! Click an album below to read a review

Always thought Blue Rodeo was a criminally under-appreciated band. Have pretty much all their albums. Bruce Cockburn as well. Interesting list from the Great White North!
