Essential John Cale
John Cale is one of the most underrated yet influential figures in 20th Century Rock. Oft overshadowed by his fellow Velvet Underground bandmate, Lou Reed, Cale has nevertheless cut a number of extraordinary solo albums. This isn't a complete list but perhaps his 10 best albums.
