Sean Hewson - Albums of the Year 2015
- by Sean Hewson Release Date: Label:

There were so many strong albums. These are the ones that I can remember:
1. The Telescopes - Hidden Fields
2. Younghusband - Dissolver
Hidden Fields reminds me of when Loop, Spacemen 3 and MBV (and The Telescopes) were putting out their 80s albums. I always thought that more could have been done in that area, and now it has. Dissolver is just a brilliant album – timeless songs, well played.
3. Julia Holter – Have You in My Wilderness
4. Kendrick Lamar – To Pimp a Butterfly
5. Tame Impala – Currents
Three exceptional albums by three exceptional talents.
6. Hey Colossus – Radio Static High
A really pleasant surprise. I'd never really committed to these chaps before but this is awesome.
7. Loop - Array 1
Welcome back, the mighty Loop.
8. King Midas Sound/Fennesz – Editions 1
It’s Kevin Martin. KEVIN MARTIN.
9. Ringo Deathstarr – Pure Mood
Another pleasant surprise. Seems a lot more confident than their previous records.
10. The Chills – Silver Bullets
Welcome back, the mighty The Chills.
