About SoundblabWe've made Soundblab really easy to use but here's a brief guide to your new online community: NetworkNot one but two live feeds. The inner network is where you'll see your personal items, message alerts, notifications from bands that you are following and blabs. If you have something you want to share with all your friends, blab about it here and it'll appear on all friends inner networks as well. The outer network is where you'll hear about events in your area. A band can push through information on upcoming tours, or a venue can advertise a one off event. Reviews and other contentLook out for the 'add to profile' link on all review pages. Click it and all alerts and updates from that band will then appear in your inner network. FriendsSearch for friends on Soundblab and send invites via email, build up your community. MessagesSend and receive messages with other Soundblab members. ProfileYour profile is what other people see when they click on your name or icon. Most of it will be populated by the friends you connect with and the bands you follow but keep your details up to date. You can also link back to your website or blog. PagesBands, event organisers, record labels and just about anyone can now create a Soundblab page. Some of these will appear in your outer network, some you'll see on friends profile pages, click 'add to profile' to follow these pages yourself. The more you network, the more chance you have of your page being found. So that's the basics but the best thing to do is get on there and get clicking. The Soundblab Team |
